Spatial data processing
The Netherlands’ Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency (Kadaster) collects and registers administrative and spatial data on property and the rights involved. For Kadaster we developed a proof of concept for processing spatial data.
The surveyors of the Kadaster take a lot of measurements. These measurements are processed into a field measurement report that include an technical sketch of the situation. In the current situation these sketches are drawn by hand. This is a time consuming process and leads to a large number of human mistakes. We developed a system that automatically processes the spatial data into ready-to-use sketches. All lines, symbols, colors and measuring numbers are automatically plotted, ensuring a sketch that represents the situation on site perfectly.
Automating this process in a smart way saves Kadaster a lot of time and reduces the amount of rework.
