Egg collection robot
From 2014 to 2017, we contributed to the development of an egg collection robot (PoultryBot – currently being developed further at Livestock Robotics). Since battery caging systems have been banned, so-called floor eggs have to be collected by hand, until such a robot is introduced into the poultry house. Topics included computer vision, path planning and system integration. Conducted as employee of Wageningen University (Farm Technology Group).
